Kim-Great job on this one! Thanks to Cindi, I've been discovering the fun of alternating 16th beats on the hi hats, so I enjoy songs like this, where they really enhance the groove so much! Your #1 fan is adorable. Mine is a cute little honey bee. She never complains about the noise!-Jessica G.

Thanks Jessica!
This is a great song to drum too! You'll really enjoy this one & like you said-good practice for 16th beats on hi-hat.
Yes, isn't my #1 fan a cutie? Just like your cute little honey bee, Boo never complains about the noise either :)

Sure enjoyed watching your videos, I'm a new drummer and hope to play like that someday. At 45 I've gotten a late start, maybe I should hope to play at least half as good as you. Glad I found this site, been on other drum sites but a little too much testosterone goin. Thanks again for the great videos!

Thank you so much Stack!
Yes...I really enjoy playing my drums (I suppose the smiling gives it away...lol!)
You know, I'd love to 'be able' to turn my set to a different position but I have a very small room & can only fit my kit one way...& that is facing that wall.
After reading your idea though, I looked at the possibility a bit more & I do believe that maybe I will try it one time. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Hey Kim, I was wondering what you are using to record your videos with, the sound quality is excellent!
Comment by Kim on June 24, 2009 at 3:04pm
Hi Lisa.
I record what I'm doing through Logic Express 8.
I also use the built in video cam on my iMac. Also, I am not using my Roland TD12 module sounds. I instead use Superior Drummer 2.0 by connecting my kit through midi to my computer. I see you have a Roland kit as well.
If you have any more questions about it, please feel free to ask me.
Take care,
Kim :)

Thanks Kim! I am thinking about purchasing superior drummer as well, but I am technically challenged and am wondering if it will be a waste of money and patients for me. I have VDrum Libarary and a couple of vex packs and I can't even figure that program out yet! LOL
