"I played in an all girl band for 2 years and it was really fun...then a boy joined the band and we all really loved it. He would do a lot of the booking and start off by saying, so we're a girl band" it was hilarious cuz we really ended up…"

I started playing in high school with a band called the No Notes, we were terrible and I only played two beats, one at 120 bpm then double time...it was more a noise thing for parties and fun as hell. Then in college I took my first lesson and really fell in love with the drums. I had a group of friends that let me jam with them and some amazing musicians from the Discord scene in WDC when they let me. Several years later I met up with a couple of girls in NYC and joined the band, America's Sweetheart. (www.americassweetheart.tv) We recorded a CD with legendary producer, Godfrey Diamond, (Billy Idol, Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, Areosmith etc...) and toured non-stop for 5+ years throughout the US. I also play with several NYC musicians much better than myself and they rock for letting me crash their scene over and over! My new drum teacher of several years now, Cliff Wesley, has been an amazing inspiration and now there's no looking back. I'm currently working on a new project called the NATCH! (www.theNATCHnyc.com) we're a true NYC garage rock trio having a blast and recording our debut CD coming out Summer 2010.
I was also the NYC Chapter Coordinator for GoGirlsMusic.com for the last few years - Helping to empower & promote Indie women in music. Yeah, You Go Girls! And one of the core bands for the GIRLS ROCK & GIRLS RULE Tour 2008.
I love love love my Tama Custom Rockstar! It's Red fading to yellow and its a 5-piece with amazing sound. I also play several percussion instruments and I have to admit I always love the trusty pots & pans!
