- Since the womb :p- but on set for 18+ years.
- What is your drumming history:
- Wanted a drum set since I could remember and got a real one for Christmas in the first grade. Played throughout school while also partaking in marching band and competitive winter drum line (5th bass as an 8th grader on the high school line) then 2nd bass and bass captain freshman year then Snare the rest- Band Geeked it- and was in a punk/alternative/pop rock band with my brother and our best friend. Recorded 3 albums and an EP with JeKKeL and gigged throughout Cali. Went to USC to study Music Industry (and Recording arts). Experienced a car accident two years ago during my Senior year and had severe hand damage. Couldn't imagine life without drums and now after lots of therapy and a couple surgeries I'm back at it full force- love, drums and RockNroll <3 I like to play it all..especially hard and fast.
- Describe Your Drum Kit:
- Mapex Custom Saturn Pro- Maple- stained red. My baby. 6 toms , A Black Panther Steel Deluxe Snare, Paiste Signature Series cymbals ( splash, 3 crashes, fatty ride and a China- an old 402 crash from my first set too) 2 cowbells and a fat bass with iron cobra double bass pedal. Vic Firth drum sticks American2B all the way.

- Tre Cool, Neil Peart, Dave Grohl, Bill Ward, Taylor Hawkins, Jose Pasillas, John Bonham, Danny Carey, John Dalmayan etc.

Twisted tale but here i am typing you a message. I really want to check out your site more and get some lessons and learn all i can from you. I am older (48) and just learning drums, wish i had done this years ago so any suggestions or ideas or tips/tricks/techniques you can share are greatly appreciated. I am playing more metal music - megadeth, priest, metallica. have a great day! Joy
