What is your drumming history:

Been playing Ukulele and Mandolin since I can remember. Started alto sax when I was 11 years old. Then Guitar when I was 12. My friend played Bass, but we needed drums; so I mowed lawns and swept shit up for about 7 months to earn the money for half of a drum set (my momma covered the other half). I got the drums when I was about 15 years old.
I played either drums or guitar in a couple of bands all throughout high school, but we usually got kicked out of whatever bar we were playing in because we (meaning I) were disrespectful to the audience.
When I went to college, I couldn't bring my drums because they were too loud. My mom got me an electric kit to keep me from killing myself. Eventually, my friend let me put my drums in his house, but, after a little while, I realized my children (read: drums) were being mistreated there. I ended up putting them in storage for a few years.
Now I live with my folks again because I cannot function properly in society. The good news is: I have my drums up and running again. I do not play with or for people, but I record a lot of music on my own. I write and play everything myself. I would like to play with other people, but I'm a psychopath, so I don't think it will work out.
