Next Great Drummer Judges & Winners peform at the Long Beach Jazz Festival Aug 8.
Imagine 8 drummers in a semi circle, playing the same piece, at the same time with a full band behind them, with horns and back-up singers.

I live in New England, but hope to be in CA sometime in Aug, and hopefully over Aug. 8. if so, I will definitely be at the Jazz Fest in Long Beach! I am not good enough yet to compete for anything, but maybe this time next year. Until then, I will be happy to watch the competition (and listen to some great music)! Good Luck!
